Quarantine Poem
By Brayden Sparks
Being at home is pretty cool,
But there are some things I miss about school.
I miss my friends and my classroom
And asking my teacher if I can go to the bathroom.
Now, I don’t wake up until 10:00
Because my blankets are now my new best friend.
My school day now is distance learning
Which makes my brain feel like it’s burning.
I know it is something new and I have to accept it
But I want to do my best so I don’t regret it.
My mom has to buy all our food online
But when she goes to pick it up,
I have to stay home, and that’s fine.
When my school work is all done for the day,
That is when I get some PS4 play.

Quarantine Poem
by Patrick Price
Can’t go out, We just have to stay inside,
I’m thinking about naming my basketball, Clyde.
I’m so bored, my dog is acting like he is a cat.
Things are really crazy because some guy ate a bat
People are stuck at home, can’t see family
The whole world has fallen into insanity.
The year 2020 is has been a bad luck frenzies
Please tell Dwayne to stop playing Jumanji
We have run out of toilet paper, we need more
Walmart is strange, only 50 people in the store.
People are making their own germ-x
I'm not ready for what 2020 has next
Thank you to all the doctors that are saving lives
They might not be able to come home to their wives (or husbands i don't judge)
I didn't like this year from square one
OK, 2020 you have won.
