Elementary pre-Christmas performances
Elementary pre-Christmas performances have been scheduled during school hours for Pre-K through Grade 3 . The performances will be December 13, 2019 with Pre-K and KG at 1:45-2:15 and Grade 1-3 at 2:45-3:15.
Some parents have voiced concerns that this change makes it difficult for parents and grandparents to attend because of their work schedules. There are reasons behind the change from night time performances to the school day: In December there are very few evenings without a conflict with scheduled basketball games; historically it has been problematic to get all of the students to attend in the evening; and pre-K and KG performances have been held during the day previously and the daytime performance allows parents with younger and older elementary students to see them at one time.
We hope that advanced notice of over a month will enable all parents and families to participate in their children's celebrations.
